Automation Tester (41077)

Join a dynamic team as an Automation Tester and take ownership of automated testing with Tricentis Tosca. You must have strong SOAP and REST API testing skills, proficiency with Tosca for API and UI automation, and basic Java knowledge. You will execute automated and manual tests, troubleshoot using Splunk and Rancher, and report defects clearly in Jira. Collaboration with developers and analysts and participation in Agile ceremonies are required. This role offers a chance to enhance testing frameworks and lead automation initiatives.

🚀 Project
- designing, developing, and executing test cases for SOAP and REST APIs
- developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Tosca (API & UI automation)
- conducting UI testing for internal web applications
- analyzing and troubleshooting logs via Splunk and Rancher to identify defects and validate fixes
- collaborating with Java developers and analysts to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- participating in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
- documenting test results and providing clear defect reports in Jira
- contributing to continuous improvement of testing and automation processes

🎯 Skills
- strong hands-on experience in API testing (SOAP & REST)
- proficiency with Tricentis Tosca – API and standard UI automation
- experience in UI testing for web-based applications
- basic Java knowledge (ability to read and understand backend code)
- good understanding of databases (MS SQL) and ability to query for test data
- familiarity with Splunk and Rancher for log analysis
- experience in Agile / Scrum environments using Jira & Confluence
- strong analytical and critical thinking skills, detail-oriented mindset

💡 Nice to have
- previous experience in banking or credit card systems
