Financial Reporting Specialist (42201)

I'm looking for an senior Financial Reporting Specialist. You will analyze an existing RN reporting file, improve its structure, logic, and macro setup, and ensure seamless integration of data from SAP and Power BI. You will also support the design of automated outputs for HFM and align financial mappings. Close collaboration with finance and IT stakeholders, participation in workshops, and support during testing and documentation are essential. 

🚀 Project
- analyzing the current RN file report structure, logic, and existing macro setup
- enhancing and optimizing existing Excel macros / VBA logic
- improving the functionality and reliability of the complex Excel reporting file
- ensuring data linkage and integration from SAP into the RN file
- ensuring data linkage and integration from Power BI into the RN file
- designing or improving the process for automatic generation of a loading XLS file from the RN file into the HFM financial system
- adjusting and mapping financial categories in the RN file according to financial accounts in HFM
- cooperating closely with finance and IT stakeholders during analysis, testing, and implementation
- participating in project meetings, workshops, and requirement clarification sessions
- supporting testing, validation, and documentation of the final solution

🎯 Skills
- advanced experience with MS Excel, especially: complex reporting files, formulas, pivots, structured data logic, troubleshooting of large Excel models
- strong experience with Excel VBA / macros, modifying existing macros, debugging and optimizing VBA code, creating automation in Excel
- experience with financial or controlling reporting
- experience with data integration / linking from SAP into Excel
- experience with Power BI data exports / integration / linking into Excel
- ability to understand reporting logic, calculation structure, and data consistency
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to communicate with both IT and finance stakeholders

💡 Nice to have
- e
xperience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) or similar financial consolidation / reporting systems
- experience with financial account mapping / chart of accounts
- nackground in finance, controlling, FP&A, or management reporting
- experience with automation of reporting processes
- knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and reporting controls
