Business Development Lead (42253)

I am looking for a Business Development Lead to drive the growth of a fashion category across emerging markets. You will define strategy, identify new opportunities and work closely with sellers and brands to expand the category, including the luxury segment. The role requires strong experience in fashion, analytical thinking and the ability to execute growth plans. You should bring a deep understanding of European markets, seller dynamics and customer behavior, along with excellent communication skills.

🚀 Project
- identifying opportunities and setting strategy and vision for the fashion category with focus on growth across emerging markets
- developing and managing relationships with strategic sellers and brands while creating success plans to support account growth and recruiting new sellers
- leading business development initiatives including acquisition plans for the luxury segment across Central and Eastern European countries
- analyzing seller and buyer needs, behaviors and preferences within the fashion sector to create effective strategies
- building and expanding ecosystem partnerships with shipping, catalog and service providers to improve market efficiency
- monitoring category performance and growth and regularly reviewing strategic direction with senior leadership

🎯 Skills
- English at C1 level
- 5+ years of experience in category management, merchandising or business growth within the fashion industry including luxury
- at least 4 years of experience in the European market with strong understanding of fashion trends, seller dynamics and consumer behavior
- strong analytical skills with ability to drive data-based decisions and performance optimization
- proven ability to identify growth opportunities, define strategic roadmaps and execute them
- experience working with top sellers and key marketplace partners
- excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
- proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

💡 Nice to have
- background in luxury fashion or premium segment category management
- experience in e-commerce or cross-border trade within a marketplace environment
- familiarity with CEE market dynamics and seller ecosystems
- experience with platforms such as Zalando, Vinted, Vestiaire Collective or similar
- passion for online retail and fashion e-commerce
