Backend Engineer (42751)

I'm looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with strong technical leadership and Java expertise to help drive engineering excellence across a high-performing agile team. You will contribute to solution design, enforce development standards, mentor engineers, and support delivery of scalable cloud-native applications and APIs. Strong experience with microservices, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern backend engineering practices is essential.

🚀 Project
- setting and enforcing engineering best practices across the pod
- ownership of code quality, review standards, and design patterns
- resolving complex technical issues and unblocking engineers
- contribution to solution design alongside the Solution Designer
- mentoring engineers and improving engineering capabilities within the pod
- championing CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices
- supporting delivery of scalable backend and cloud-native solutions
- collaboration within a high-pace agile delivery environment

🎯 Skills
- 8+ years of engineering experience with proven technical leadership
- strong Java backend and/or full-stack expertise
- deep understanding of API design, microservices, and cloud-native patterns
- experience conducting rigorous code reviews and maintaining engineering standards
- experience working in high-pace agile delivery environments

💡 Nice to have
- payments, banking, or fintech domain experience
- React Native or cross-platform mobile development experience
- familiarity with PCI-DSS, OWASP, or financial-services security standards
