As a Security Architect with Mergers and Acquisitions experience, you will drive security due diligence, define target architectures, and guide secure integration or separation across IT, OT, Cloud, and SaaS environments. I expect strong experience in enterprise security architecture, risk assessment, and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls, along with proven exposure to M&A or complex transformations. 🚀 Project
- acting as the primary security architecture authority for Security M&A initiatives
- performing security due diligence on target companies, platforms, and services (IT, OT, Cloud, SaaS)
- identifying security gaps, IMF deviations, inherited risks, and required remediation actions
- providing go / no‑go security recommendations and risk acceptance inputs for deal decisions
- defining target security solution architectures for post‑merger integration or separation states
- documenting security risks, compensating controls, and transitional architectures
- supporting formal risk treatment decisions, including mitigation, transfer, or acceptance
- advising on secure network separation, identity segregation, data protection, and access controls during transition periods
- supporting secure integration or disentanglement of: Identity & Access Management, Networks and connectivity, Cloud and platform services, Applications and data, OT / manufacturing environments
- ensuring interim solutions do not create unacceptable residual risk

🎯 Skills
- 8+ years in security, enterprise or solution architecture/consultancy roles
- proven experience supporting M&A, divestments, or complex enterprise transformations
- strong background in enterprise security architecture and risk management
- Security Architecture & Design (multi‑domain - Cloud, Identity, Network, Application, Data, and OT)
- Security Risk Assessment & Due Diligence
- IMF / NIST / ISO 27001 / IEC/ISA 62443 / CIS Controls
- executive‑level communication and stakeholder management

💡 Nice to have
- CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, or equivalent
- high integrity and strong risk ownership
- ability to operate in high‑pressure, time‑critical deal environments
