Category Manager (43191)

I am looking for a Category Manager to take ownership of Facility Management and Catering sourcing activities. You will lead negotiations, manage suppliers and drive category strategy in a global environment. The role requires strong procurement experience, stakeholder management and the ability to deliver value through data-driven decisions.

🚀 Project
- managing end-to-end sourcing activities (eRFX) and leading commercial and contractual negotiations within FM and Catering
- applying and executing category strategy in alignment with global objectives and stakeholder needs
- managing supplier lifecycle including onboarding, contracts, SLAs/KPIs, performance reviews, risk mitigation and renewals
- driving governance, compliance and operational excellence through standardization of processes and tools
- leveraging market intelligence, benchmarking, should-cost and TCO analysis to support sourcing decisions
- collaborating with stakeholders and category teams to align scope, budget, timelines and risks
- working closely with Global Category Manager on vendor strategies and sourcing approaches
- driving continuous improvement across sourcing and P2P processes
- using data, analytics and digital tools (including AI) to improve decision-making and performance visibility
- managing supplier relationships (SRM) to drive innovation, value and long-term partnerships
- supporting ESG initiatives and driving sustainability measures through supplier engagement

🎯 Skills
- 5+ years of procurement experience with focus on complex sourcing and negotiations
- strong experience in Facility Management procurement
- understanding of FM service models and catering contract structures
- experience working in cross-functional and multi-market environments
- strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- analytical mindset with experience in benchmarking, TCO and cost analysis
- experience with procurement tools (e.g. SAP Ariba) and P2P processes
- interest or experience in AI-driven procurement and digital transformation
