DevOps Engineer (42886)

I am looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation within Azure environments. You will work with Azure DevOps, Terraform, API platforms, and Databricks Asset Bundles to deliver scalable, secure, and automated deployment solutions. I expect strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, Terraform for Azure, and infrastructure-as-code best practices.

🚀 Project
- designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, multi-stage deployments, environment approvals)
- implementing and managing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform for Azure (networking, compute, storage, security, and API components)
- building and supporting API infrastructure (e.g., API gateways, ingress, routing, authentication/authorization, rate limiting, monitoring)
- automating the provisioning and configuration of DABS environments and related data/analytics services (e.g., Databricks/Fabric or similar)
- collaborating with development and data engineering teams to define infrastructure and API requirements and transform them into automated, repeatable solutions
- integrating automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates into Azure DevOps pipelines
- implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting for APIs and platform services; troubleshooting and resolving pipeline, deployment, and environment issues
- contributing to standards, reusable Terraform modules, Azure DevOps templates, and platform documentation

- in-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services
- experience with Azure networking services (VNet, NSG, Private Endpoints)
- experience with Azure compute services (AKS, Virtual Machines, App Service)
- experience with Azure storage services (Blob Storage, ADLS)
- strong understanding of Azure security services (IAM, Key Vault, Managed Identity)
- experience with API infrastructure and API gateway platforms (Azure API Management, Kong)
- knowledge of traffic routing, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API Keys), and rate limiting
- experience with API monitoring and management of API ecosystems
- hands-on experience with Databricks Asset Bundles (DABS)
- experience automating deployment of Databricks jobs, pipelines, and clusters using DABS
- experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines
- knowledge of tools such as Checkov, tfsec, Snyk, or OWASP ZAP
- experience implementing security and quality gates that prevent deployments when vulnerabilities are detected
- experience setting up monitoring and alerting for platform services and APIs
- hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, or Grafana
- ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools
