Cloud Platform Engineer (41838)

I am looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer who will take responsibility for migrating and modernizing on-premises enterprise services to the Azure cloud. The role involves analyzing dependencies, implementing necessary adjustments through scripts and automation, deploying containerized applications, and operating CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. I require strong experience in enterprise cloud migration projects, deep understanding of Azure and containerized architectures, hands-on Terraform/OpenTofu skills, and high-quality CI/CD automation capabilities. 🚀 Project
- migrating existing on-premises services to the Azure public cloud according to a defined migration guideline
- developing conceptual migration strategies when services cannot be directly transferred
- analyzing technical dependencies between services and surrounding systems
- implementing necessary adjustments using scripts and pipeline automation
- deploying containerized applications in Azure
- setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
- close collaboration with development and cloud engineering teams

🎯 Skills
- several years of practical experience in cloud migration projects, ideally in an enterprise environment
- very good understanding of modern cloud architectures (Azure, containers, microservices)
- solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu)
- high quality standards in CI/CD automation (GitLab)
- ability to identify and resolve complex dependencies in system landscapes
- strong communication, remote collaboration, and technical documentation skills
